How we calculated this
Prices are monthly, in USD, from each app's Shopify App Store listing, checked October 1, 2026. Where an app's own website shows different numbers, we note it below. Prices change, so check the app's listing before you decide.
We pick the cheapest plan that covers your monthly orders and includes points and referrals, plus VIP tiers when the switch is on. Free plans with app branding count.
- Smile.io: VIP tiers start on Growth ($199), on both the App Store listing and smile.io.
- Smile.io: Plus ($999/month, billed annually, 7,500 orders, then $5 per extra 100 orders) is listed on smile.io only.
- LoyaltyLion: Classic ($199) covers 500 orders a month; above that, pricing is a custom quote.
- LoyaltyLion: The App Store listing includes VIP tiers on Classic; loyaltylion.com describes them as an add-on.
- Yotpo Loyalty: Pro is $199 for the first 500 orders, then $0.20, $0.10 and $0.05 per order in bands (yotpo.com). The App Store listing quotes $0.08–$0.20 per order.
- Yotpo Loyalty: Free plan: the App Store listing limits it to under 100 orders a month; yotpo.com doesn't state an order limit. VIP tiers are only on the custom-priced Premium and Enterprise plans.
- Growave: Paid plans include a set number of orders, then charge per extra 100 orders ($20 Entry, $15 Growth, $10 Plus). VIP tiers start on Growth.
- BON Loyalty: Above a plan's order limit, orders stop earning points until the limit resets, so you'd move up a plan. VIP tiers are on Growth ($129, unlimited orders).
- Rivo: Scale ($49) includes 400 orders, then $20 per extra 100 orders, capped at $499 a month. VIP tiers start on Scale.
- Appstle Loyalty: VIP tiers start on Business ($30, up to 2,000 orders). Business Premium is $100 for 5,000 orders, then $0.015 per order.
